| Champions League quarter-final draw have been taken on Friday 19th, March in Nyon.
Quarter-finals pairs are:
Olympique Lyon vs Girondins Bordoux
Bayern vs. Manchester Utd.
Arsenal vs. Barcelona
Inter Milano vs. CSKA Moskva
First legs scheduled for 30 and 31 March and the return matches the following week, on 6 and 7 April.

We have known first Champions Leagues' quarter-finalists: Arsenal, Bayern, Manchester Utd, Lyon, Inter and CSKA Moskva.
Last two teams will be selected from competitions between Barcelona against Vfb Stuttgart and Bordeaux against Olympiacos. Sensational defeats of Real Madrid and Chelsea were the biggest shock of Champions League Round 16.

| On the 27th August in Monaco there was a Champions League group stage draw. During this 2009/10 season UEFA has increased number of playing teams up to 24. This is the highest number since ten years.
First games will be played on 15th September, 2009.
