Wroclaw is a kind of the city which joins both: historical traditions and modernity. Wroclaw is the official host city of the European Football Championships in 2012.

Beside that, there is lots of historical monuments and old churches. Nowadays, Wroclaw is a metropolis with 600 thousends of inhabitants. It is one of the biggest economic, cultural and scientific centre in Poland.
Each year, there are lots of artistic and musical festivals. The city has become one big construction and renovation site. Specially, because Wroclaw is one of four Polish host cities to organize Euro 2012.

Warsaw is the official Polish host city of the European Football Championships in 2012. On 18th April 2007 UEFA has presented Poland and Ukraine as new host countries of the Euro Football Championships in 2012. Beside them, there were Italy, Hungary and Croatia competed for right to organise Euro Cup in 2012. Ceremony open game will be played on June, 2012 in Warsaw.
History
