| Spain have won against Serbia at the European Basketball Championships EuroBasket 2009 in Poland.

| Spain and Serbia have met before and started EuroBasket 2009 tournament at the same group.
During their first game Spain was defeated by Serbia 57:66. Spain have won easy against Greece 82:64 at semi-final and Serbia defeated Slovenia at extra time on Satursdays thriller 96:92.
Now at the final, they will fight for the European basketball championship title.
At the same day Greece will play against Slovenia for the third place of EuroBasket 2009.
Moreover, France will play against Croatia for the fifth place and Turkey against Russia for the seventh place.

| Turkey, Greece and France became first Eurobasket 2009's quarterfinalists.
The battle for the next five places will be taken by Croatia, Russia, Germany and F.Y.R.O. Macedonia in group E and Slovenia, Serbia, Spain and Poland in group F. Beside Slovenia and Serbia, all teams need to win their two remaining games to qualify for the next round.

| European Basketball Championships EuroBasket 2009 has started in Poland at 4:30 p.m. CET with games between defender of the title Russia and Latvia in Gdansk and Greece against F.Y.R.O. Macedonia in Poznan.
Next, at 6:15 CET Poland will play against Bulgaria in Wroclaw and Great Briatin against Slovenia in Warsaw.
Moreover, today at 7:15 CET Croatia will play against Israel in Poznan and Germany meet France.
This evening most interesting game will be played at 9 p.m. CET between teams of Serbia and Spain. 15 minutes later todays last game will be played between Lithuania and Turkey.
